Sondra Lynn (Scott) Warren, age 70, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018. She was born May 19, 1948, in Morrilton, a daughter to the late Thomas and Jessie Ruth Scott. She obtained a Master's of Science in Education with an emphasis in History from the University of Central Arkansas. She taught at Morrilton Junior High School for two years before becoming a Methodist preacher's wife and stay-at-home mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ellis Edward Warren. She is survived by her children, Christopher (Kathy) Warren of Fort Worth, Texas, Courtney (Thomas) Turner of Marvell, Scott Warren of Russellville, Jennifer Warren, John Warren, William Warren, and Joshua Warren, all of Morrilton; and grandchildren, Nathan, Lauren, and Wesley Turner, Michael and Andrew Warren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Morrilton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Katie Pearce officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church.
