Paul "Dek" Poindexter, age 71, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018. He was born September 22, 1946, in Morrilton, a son of the late Paul Crowell Poindexter and Mildred Harton Poindexter. He worked for AP&L, Arrow Industries and recently worked as a courier for Commercial Transit. At heart, Dek was a craftsman and for many years he worked with his father in the family business, Poindexter and Son Printing and Office Supplies. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Poindexter of Little Rock; son, Brian Poindexter of Oppelo; mother, Mildred Poindexter; sisters, Libby (Rommy) Henley of Russellville and Midge (Randy) Bottoms of Waldron, Arkansas; three nieces; one nephew; four great nieces; and two great nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Elmwood Cemetery with Rommy Henley officiating.
