Joseph French, age 100, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. He was born May 3, 1917 in Booneville, Arkansas, a son of Austin French and Nettie Singleton French. He was the widower of Katie French. He was a cattle farmer and a member of Aplin Church of Christ and Cattlemen's Association.
He is survived by his sons, Billy Joe (Louise) French of Oppelo, Linzie (Judy) French of Aplin, and David (Janice) French of Perry; daughter, Annette Sue (Billy Ray) Prince of Deberrie; grandchildren, Jeff (Amy) French of Perry, Regina (Mark) Tilley of Morrilton, Lisa (Brad) Hegeman of Conway, Sheila (Darrin) Swinson of Decatur, Will (Sarah) French of Perry, Tabitha French of Aplin, Clint (JoAnna) Kordsmeier of Conway, Jason (Colleen) Kordsmeier of Little Rock, Amanda (Wes) Ader of Benton,Randall (Kathy) Dias of White Hall, Lincoln (Arin) Dias of Searcy, Valerie (Richard) Growns of Petit Jean Mt., and Adam (Carrie) Prince of Deberrie, Anthony Dias of California, John Austin Dias of Morrilton; fourteen great grandchildren. Other than his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by seven sisters; daughter, Louann Dias; and granddaughter, Mary Jo French.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at Deberrie Cemetery with Mr. Charles Smith officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
