Harold Joseph Thomey

Harold Joseph Thomey, age 89, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was born November 27, 1928 in Morrilton, a son of the late George Thomey and Lucy Hoyt Thomey. After retiring from his job as a mechanic, Harold enjoyed fishing, golfing, and picking pecans. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Carolyn Caskin of the home; sons, Michael (Debbie) Thomey of Houston, Steve Thomey of Morrilton; daughters, Linda (Robert) Griffin of Morrilton, and Susan Thomey of North Little Rock; six grandchildren, Shane Thomey, Jennifer Arnold, Heather Nations, Alicia Spurlock, Harold David Nations, and Katelin Epperson; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, George and Raymond Thomey; and three sisters, Marguerite Hoelzeman, Clara Talley, and Emma Sue Briley. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cecelia Kyle Thomey; daughter, Marian Thomey Gordon; two brothers, and one sister.

Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, at the Harris Chapel with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Service and arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
